Brown short grain rice.
Woah, I finally found a shop that sells brown short grain rice in bulk! My rice-consumption has really risen in the past year or so and I've been meaning to try brown rice for a while, but it seemed impossible to find a good (reasonably priced) source here. I'm excited to cook with it in the future to see how it compares to white rice. If anyone has any tips on how to cook brown rice in a rice cooker, send 'em my way, please! :)

ReplyDeleteMihl - I can find white rice sold in bulk at most asian supermarkets (1-20kg sacks), have you checked those? I had to order the brown rice online, but that might just be because the shops aren't as well stocked here. It definitely pays off if you eat rice on a regular basis! :)
